Practice Area: Personal Injury Defense,Trucking and Auto Defense,Insurance Defense - General,Litigation - Construction Defect (Defense),Asbestos - Defense,Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is currently seeking an experienced General Liability, Product Liability, and/or Asbestos Defense Trial Attorney with significant civil defense litigation experience and a proven track record in jury trials. The candidate should have expertise in areas such as general liability, product liability, and asbestos/toxic tort.Duties:Handle civil defense litigation cases in various areas, including general liability (premises liability, personal injury, automobile/trucking accidents, construction defect, habitability matters, etc.), product liability, and/or asbestos/toxic tort.Conduct extensive discovery, take and defend depositions, prepare and argue motions, attend mediations or arbitrations, and prepare for trial.Make in-person appearances on cases when needed, including attendance at trials.Requirements:Must be admitted to the State Bar of California.Experience:Significant civil defense litigation experience.Proven jury trial experience in the specified areas.Skills:Strong expertise in conducting discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.Ability to make in-person appearances and attend trials.Excellent litigation and leadership skills.Benefits:A variety of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans (some at no cost to the employee).Firm-paid life insurance and disability insurance.Paid sick time.Paid parental leave.Flexible vacation policy.401k.Firm-sponsored educational opportunities and MCLE programs to grow and develop litigation and leadership skills.Multiple optional social firm lunches and events throughout the year to allow colleagues to get together in person.
