Does this sound like you?! What you will be doing: Develop and implement commercial residential strategies according to Slide's goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth. Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial residential opportunities (expansion, business development, etc). Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing). Ensure the quality and integrity of commercial residential underwriting activities and processes. Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met. Develop the guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Develop and implement commercial residential insurance policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Lead, support, and develop the Commercial Residential team, delivering continuous performance feedback and providing opportunities for professional success. Collaborate with and coordinate with diverse teams within Slide to meet business goals and objectives. Monitor performance of commercial residential activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners. Perform other duties, as assigned. What you have: Education, Experience, and Licensing: Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years' experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on Commercial Residential policies. 5+ years' proven leadership experience required. CPCU certification preferred. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Proven experience as a leader in Commercial Residential Insurance. Deep understanding of commercial residential policies, underwriting, and procedures required. In-depth knowledge of market research methods and analysis. Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes. Commercial residential awareness partnered with a strategic mindset. Proven people leadership skills in a results-driven environment. Solid knowledge of insurance software programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively. Solid working proficiencies of business operations, procedures, and priorities with a strong ability to support change and impart value within an organization. Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Desire to live Slide's Core Values.
