Collins, is hiring high-quality Infection Preventionist who play an important role in the recovery and well-being of our post-acute patients and elderly residents. Compensation Starting wages $77k- $98k per year depending on experience 3 opportunities for raises in your first year Opportunities for growth within our company Benefits Our employees who work 24+ hours per week qualify for a full range of benefits including Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Free health care clinics for anyone covered by the healthcare plan 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Discounts at our pharmacy Discounts at our medical equipment stores Work Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm On call rotation Nurse Manager Must be able to demonstrate results-oriented leadership with a high level of professionalism Must be able to cultivate a strong team to support all aspects of patient care Oversees the quality of care of residents Serves as a coach and resource for nurses and CNAs Collaborates with Charge Nurses regarding acute issues Help monitor and track quality measures Work with the admissions department on pending admissions Infection Preventionist Oversees the Infection Control program for the facility as well as antibiotic stewardship and ensures compliance with all Federal and State requirements in that area Must be able to demonstrate results-oriented leadership with a high level of professionalism Must be able to cultivate a strong team to support all aspects of patient care Oversees the quality of care of residents Serves as a coach and resource for nurses and CNAs Collaborates with Charge Nurses regarding acute issues Help monitor and track quality measures and illnesses Keep up-to-date with required education Requirements Preferably one year of experience in a nursing leadership, management, rehabilitation nursing, and/or Skilled Nursing care or Long Term Care Must have an unencumbered RN Colorado or multi-state license Must have knowledge of nursing service administration, medical surgical nursing, geriatrics, and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities Must also have a good understanding of adult learning principles and effective teaching methods BSN and acute care experience preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
