Here are some key accountabilities of the role: This position is responsible for preparing financial modelling to support various initiatives, including general analytics, plan and forecast submissions in support of the Logistics Operations team. The role requires provision of standard recommendations and actionable insights to inform decision making and reporting on all logistics finance activities in collaboration with other team members. Executes ad-hoc reports and analysis to identify cost saving opportunities and mitigate business risks; supports various business initiatives through data modelling, financial insights, and guided recommendations. Participates in department process improvements initiatives and contributes to operational efficiency and automations (i. e. benchmarking, development of training materials). Perform deep dives on bill exceptions, carrier statements, rate submissions, payments, contract negotiations, and third-party audits to provide timely recommendations to the Logistics Operations.
