Job Description OPENING 2019New Behavioral Health Hospital in Boise, Idaho Haven Behavioral Healthcare is proud toannounce the opening of a brand new72-bed facility located at 2131 S. Bonito Way. This facility will greatlyimprove accessto inpatient behavioral healthcare in the Treasure Valley and surroundingcommunities. DIRECTOR, UTILIZATION REVIEWAnticipated start date - November 2018 POSITION SUMMARY : * Develops and implements systems for the authorization, concurrent and retrospective review of inpatient admissions and services. * Supervises staff and the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of services delivered. EDUCATION :Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Counseling, Behavioral Health, Nursing or closely related field. EXPERIENCE : Two years clinical experience in a psychiatric facility with knowledge of medical terminology and in criteria required for acute psychiatric inpatient care. Knowledge of insurance coverage and billing practices preferred. Previous experience in utilization review or case management desirable.
