You will be joining a full stack development team who is responsible for new and existing features, along with the scalability and performance of the Workday developer website and tools. About the Role Collaborate with peers, product owners, and designers to plan, build, test, and deliver high-quality software to our quickly growing developer community Write clear, efficient, and scalable code with an eye towards maintainability Participate in design and code reviews Discover and troubleshoot issues with existing architecture and code base Polish, improve, and innovate with regards to the existing code base Support the release planning by understanding the details (effort, risk, priority) of the planned features in an agile environment Own and contribute to team productivity/process improvements About You Basic Qualifications: 4 years of experience developing and maintaining modern web applications 4 Years of Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML & CSS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience Other Qualifications: A demonstrable record of taking design ideas to working software Experience with front end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, NextJS, and related frameworks Experience with functional or imperative programming languages - Java, Kotlin, etc. Knowledge of common design patterns and when to use them Proficiency with major development tools and processes such as IDEs, revision control, continuous delivery, and test automation Ability to work with product managers to clarify and prune requirements Expert level HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills Hands on experience with cloud development technologies and platforms, (AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform) Experience working in a fast-paced ever changing Agile environment Previous experience creating websites from scratch You are a service owner who loves to code! Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
