Vintures Wine Distribution is on the lookout for an energetic and dedicated entry-level sales representative to join our team in Houston, Texas. Whether you're new to the wine industry or looking to transfer your passion for wine into a professional setting, we offer a fantastic opportunity to grow and learn in an expanding market. About Vintures: We are a dynamic wine distribution and import company, championing estate and family-owned wineries with a commitment to sustainable viticulture. Representing over 170 producers and around 600 diverse wines, our portfolio is rapidly growing—and so is our team. What We Offer: An introduction to a broad range of business operations including major retailers like HEB's and Central Market, as well as top local restaurants, wine bars, and country clubs. A supportive, team-oriented environment with hands-on training and daily operational support from our Houston warehouse. Your Role Will Involve: Supporting our senior sales representative and gradually taking over certain customer accounts. Building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers. Actively expanding our portfolio within existing accounts and securing new customer placements. Planning and participating in promotional events such as wine tastings and dinners. Meeting sales targets and contributing to our team’s success. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Has a keen interest in wine and is eager to build knowledge and expertise. Is goal-oriented, with a proactive mindset and a readiness to learn. Possesses basic organizational and communication skills. Has a reliable vehicle with valid insurance and driver’s license, and is able to manage occasional physical tasks like lifting (up to 45lbs). Job Type: Full-time, 1099 Contractor Compensation: Competitive commission structure with initial financial support as you build your market presence. Expected earnings starting at $40K, with great potential for growth based on performance.
