Join our Respite Team as a Flexible Caregiver and be the difference in the lives of children with special needs! Whether it's autism, down syndrome, or cerebral palsy, your compassion and flexibility make every moment count. Earn $17.50 to $18.50 per hour plus sibling care bonuses, and mileage perks. Location: All of San Diego County; we do our best to place you as close as possible to your location! Start Date: ASAP Base Pay : $17 to $18 per hour base pay, sibling care bonuses, AND guaranteed mileage reimbursements for your commute! + Sibling Care Bonuses: $2/hr per additional child.+ Mileage Reimbursement: Up to 40 miles round trip. That's up to $25 extra per job or an effective extra $6.25 per hour on our shortest shifts. Even better, mileage reimbursement is non-taxable. This is your drive to and from work. Responsibilities and Requirements: An engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and do other activities in families' homes + opportunity to plan fun outings. At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience...special needs experience a plus! 2 childcare references are required, which can come from paid or unpaid experience. Part-time schedules available are about 12 - 30 hours per week Full-time schedules are 30 to 40 hours per week Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license. So, what’s next? Eager to get started?
