We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family practice or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team, at Gastro Helath for kids. As a Pediatric /FP-Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients, ranging from infants to 21 years. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating illnesses , educating patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physical assessments of pediatric patients- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gastrointestinal illnesses- Order and interpret diagnostic tests- Prescribe medications and treatments- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans- Provide case management for complex medical conditions- Offer counseling and support to patients and their families- New grads with willingness to learn are also welcome Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program. Currently licensed as a pediatric or family practice nurse practioner in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia. BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required in some areas.
