A belief that we're making a positive impact and a commitment to having fun.We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office. Job Summary The staff accountant position requires a motivated individual who can perform a variety of accounting and finance tasks as the organization grows. The incumbent works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Duties and Responsibilities Month-end close: responsible for general ledger month-end expense close; process closing journal entries, maintain completeness and accuracy of general ledger and create various account reconciliations Technical accounting: assist with research and documentation of technical accounting issues Participate, as needed, in business integration activities including but not limited to purchase accounting and/or setup of newly created or acquired entities Audit: assist with external audit and audit requests Oversee documentation and test internal controls Process & systems: seek to improve existing systems/processes in areas of responsibility and assist with the selection/implementation of new systems as needed Other duties as assigned and required Required Qualifications B.S. in Accounting or Finance 1 to 3 years of professional experience - mix of public/private preferred CPA a plus Excellent technical accounting skills required, including strong knowledge and experience with US GAAP Proficiency in MS Office required, Netsuite experience a plus Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment This position offers a total compensation range of $72,800.00 to $78,800.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives).
