Additional Information About the Role We have a new 3T Siemens MRI scanner and are looking for an MRI Technologist to join a growing team at Christian Hospital. Position Details: Sign-on Bonus Eligible - $5000.00 Full-Time Days 37.5 hours per week 5 8 hour shifts or 4 10 hour shifts (willing to be flexible) Call is 1-2 days a week and weekend call every 3-5th weekend Why Join Us? High performing in a specialty means we were in the top 10% nationally of all evaluated hospitals for that specialty or procedure and condition. Northwest HealthCare , six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.MRI at NWHC has a Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Symphony scanner. The procedure room has a large window making the room bright & has a very open feeling. MRI offers same day service. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
