Technical Director Job Description Title: Technical DirectorReports To: Creative ProducerCampus: Cooper CityLocal/Global: Local A local position on shared ministry at our Cooper City Campus. Summary: As the Technical Director, you must be able to inspire a team to action, motivating them to achieve great things and create a culture of learning and growth within the ministry. Leading Potential Church’s technical staff and partnering with volunteer teams, this position provides insight, wisdom, and development training strategies for the ministry. Focus Areas: This defining position will lead all technical aspects for the weekend worship experience and special events. Providing clear direction and oversight to the live broadcast experience, including Audio, Video & Lighting. The Technical Director will oversee the overall system maintenance of all production systems. Continually discover solutions to generate & refine technical systems and processes. Overseeing the development of growing production teams, both volunteer and staff. They will provide direct leadership over volunteer leaders in the Tech ministry. They will also assist in stage construction preparation and execution. Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure that all media is produced to the highest quality standards and is in line with the church's vision and values. Experience/Skills: Potential Church has a high capacity, driven staff with an excellence and personal development culture. The church is looking for a self-motivated, proactive leader who is comfortable with a heigh level of involvement and a constantly developing environment. The Technical Director must have: Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Motivator & galvanizer of others Tenacious attention to detail Extremely punctual with deadlines and the completion of projects Cooperative team member who respects organizational policies and procedures Prerequisite Experience: 3+ years of live Production Experience.Served in a large church capacity.Extensive experience in Audio mixing .Expert Knowledge of Dante, Digico, Waves, Line-arrays, Clear-Com, and other broadcasting systems.Intermediate knowledge of ProPresenter, Resolume, GrandMA3, Panasonic broadcast and cinematic cameras, Led Wall Mapping, Premier ProMust align with the vision, values, and doctrinal statement of Potential Church. Responsibilities: Manage Technical Staff & Volunteers Active communicator with vendors and external contractorsCommunicate with the technical teams to ensure that the overall production is cohesive and professional.Ensure that all media content is recorded, edited, and stored appropriately for future use
