Radiology Technician Role Overview: Currently seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. The Radiology Technician will play a crucial role in conducting diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures following established protocols and physician orders. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, maintaining adherence to safety protocols and positioning techniques. Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental policies. Qualifications: Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology from an accredited program. Valid state license or certification as a Radiology Technician. Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
