Job Description Title: Associate Manager, Hedge Fund/Private Equity Accounting Location : Edina, MN or Dallas, TX | Hybrid Get To Know The Team: The Fund Accounting Associate Manager is responsible for managing the accounting books of an assigned funds. Also ensuring that the balance sheet and profit and loss account are accurately reported on a timely basis within tight deadlines, and makes certain strong internal controls are maintained in accordance with financial policies. What You Will Get To Do: Prepares a variety of fund reports for clients including: cash forecasts, Net Assets Values (NAVs), yields, distributions, reconciliation, and other fund accounting output. Updates and reviews trading, general ledger activity and pricing of funds. Prepares and reconciles trial balances for assigned funds and prepares reconciliation of fund records to custodians and transfer agents. Reviews complex investments and/or funds which may include international, fixed income, or derivatives securities. Leader of professionals or first-level leaders working on issues of a diverse scope or coordinating department activities. Exercises wide-latitude to make decisions within established company policies to meet business objectives. What You Will Bring: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent3-5 years of Fund Accounting experience, ideally Hedge Fund or Private Equity. Would consider Real Estate or Mutual Fund accounting experience.Be willing to work on site 6 days a month.Thank you for your interest in SS&C!
