Abatix is looking for a new Warehouse Associate! The Warehouse team member is responsible for all shipping and receiving functions including properly preparing bills of lading, pulling inventory, and checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. The new team member should ensure Abatix is represented in a positive manner, be aligned with and support the overall goals and objectives of the entire company and actively provide input and support. Day shift | Monday - Friday | $18- $20/hour Job Description: Receive and pick orders for customers Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment Count stock items and record data into computer system Assist customers with loading merchandise Pick and pack orders Store items in an orderly and accessible manner Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover and facility Other job duties as needed Job Requirements A customer service mindset! You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs 2+ years of warehouse experience in a wireless environment Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism Willingness to be a team player and take on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills Ability to complete certifications for forklifts and delivery vehicles (if necessary) Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require Benefits of the Abatix family You start earning PTO on Day 1 because we believe in your work/life balance We offer you four choices in healthcare plans You're eligible for monthly and annual branch bonuses We are an ESOP, which means if we make money - you make money!
