The candidate should possess outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.Duties:Devise practical solutions for companies under FTC jurisdiction and state privacy laws, emphasizing ad tech, ed tech, fintech, COPPA, CAN-SPAM, and emerging technologies such as IoT, blockchain, and biometrics.Draft privacy, data handling, and cybersecurity policies.Conduct privacy due diligence for corporate transactions and deals.Provide expertise in cross-border data transactions.Requirements:3-5 years of relevant experience.Hands-on familiarity with FTC jurisdiction and state privacy laws.Experience in ad tech, ed tech, fintech, COPPA, CAN-SPAM, and emerging technologies.Knowledge of cross-border data transactions.Outstanding academic credentials.Comparable law firm experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility to waive in).Additional certifications in privacy, data handling, or cybersecurity are a plus.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Drafting legal documents and policies.Privacy and cybersecurity expertise.Communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
