The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day case activities, lead fact investigations, research legal issues, develop litigation strategies, draft pleadings, conduct and defend depositions, negotiate with opposing counsel, and work on a team while managing junior attorneys. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage client relationships are essential. Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plus.Duties:Manage day-to-day case activitiesLead fact investigationsResearch legal issues and develop litigation strategiesDraft pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgmentConduct and defend depositionsNegotiate with opposing counselWork on a team and manage junior attorneysRequirements:3-5 years of significant litigation and case management experienceExcellent academic and professional credentialsStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsComfortable managing client relationshipsAbility to deliver smaller projects with limited supervisionAssist and confidently manage workflow for larger projectsExperience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plusMust be in good standing in GAEducation:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the State Bar of GeorgiaSkills:Litigation and case managementLegal research and analysisDrafting pleadingsDeposition conduct and defenseNegotiationTeamwork and leadershipClient relationship managementProject management with both small and large projectsFair Credit Reporting Act knowledge (preferred) This large Atlanta-based firm has well rounded and outgoing associates.
