The ideal candidate will have a passion for advocating for clients, possess strong communication and negotiation skills, and demonstrate proficiency in legal research, writing, and trial advocacy.Duties:Communicating with clients to provide legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.Conducting and defending depositions to gather evidence and testimony.Performing legal research and drafting various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Leading mediations to facilitate settlement negotiations.Developing comprehensive case strategies in collaboration with the legal team.Representing clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and settlement conferences.Requirements:Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and good standing with the TN State Bar.Proven experience drafting and responding to motions.Thorough understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Tennessee State Bar.Skills:Strong oral and written communication skills.Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Job Location: Knoxville, TNBenefits Offered:Contingency fee referral opportunities.Ongoing training and mentoring from an experienced team nationwide.Office and legal staff support to facilitate your practice.
