Practice Area: Intellectual Property - Trademark/Copyright - Litigation,IP - Litigation - Mechanical,IP - Litigation - Electrical Engineering,IP - Litigation - Hard Science General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Miami is seeking a talented Patent Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in patent litigation and a background in electrical or mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will also have additional trademark and/or copyright litigation experience, although not required. This role requires a strong academic background, exceptional research, writing, and communication skills. Duties:Conduct legal research on patent infringement issues and relevant case law.Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda related to patent litigation.Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and responses.Participate in pre-trial preparation and strategy sessions.Represent clients in court proceedings, including depositions and oral motion practice. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.3-6 years of experience in patent litigation.Admission to the Bar.Strong academic record.Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Education:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Bar admission required. Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
