The role: As an Offshore Driller your core role will be to undertake drilling operations using Fugro’s specialized marine drilling equipment. The driller is responsible for determining the optimal drilling parameters required to drill investigative bore holes safely and efficiently to determine soil characteristics. The driller is responsible for choosing suitable equipment, running and monitoring the drill, and enforcing safety procedures. The offshore driller works alongside various stakeholders within Fugro to retrieve accurate and concise bore hole data. The Driller is responsible for positioning the drill bit accurately and safely at various depths to allow in situ testing, logging, and sample recovery.
