We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Nursing Manager provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for patients in individual units. Responsibilities include fiscal, human resource, risk management and operational functions. The Manager contributes to strategic planning and program development and maintains 24 hour accountability. The Manager performs delegated duties and functions within the philosophy and overall scope of responsibility. The Manager displays positive support for the values and mission of Wesley Medical Center.Display competence in the following: - Interpreting EKG rhythms - Vasoactive and Cardiac IV medications - Ventilator management - MediTech documentation including visual flow sheet - Arterial and Venous blood draws - Obtaining 12-lead EKGs -What qualifications you will need: Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through the American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) verification course through the American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR within 90 days of hire Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing - - Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of critical care experience Preferred certifications - Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam, NIH Stroke Scale, Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), CRRTFor more than 100 years, Wesley Healthcare has provided exceptional care to thousands of families in Wichita and throughout Kansas and Northern Oklahoma. is a member of the Wesley Healthcare network within Greater Wichita and has been an HCA Healthcare hospital since 1985.Our physicians treat more than 24,000 patients annually, making Wesley Medical Center the most preferred hospital in Kansas and northern Oklahoma.
