BLS, a leader in the ground transportation industry across the USA is hiring Dispatchers to be based at our Operations Center in Astoria, NY 11105. Working on Saturday is required. Available Dispatcher shifts include: Evening Primary Dispatcher Responsibilities include: Assigning reservations and dispatching Chauffeurs. Maintaining contact with Chauffeurs to ensure the delivery of superior service to our clientele. Monitoring flight schedules, airports activities and traffic conditions to help Chauffeurs proactively respond to potential service disruptions. The ideal applicant will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Experience dispatching preferably with a ground transportation company. Able to stay composed dealing with high volume of changing data. Experienced using Excel Great organizational skills with an eye for details. Excellent communication skills. If you possess these additional qualifications, it’s a plus! Experience using Santa Cruz. The benefits and perks our employees receive after meeting eligibility requirements include: Paid Vacation.
