Amida is currently looking for a ETL Developer to join our team in Washington DC, hybrid, or remote. In this role you will work across our client engagements, providing expertise in data pipeline development and ETL process. You will be primarily responsible for extracting data from disparate relational databases and loading the extracted data to a graph database in a cloud environment. You will also contribute to data modeling and technical and data process documentation. What you will do: Collaborate with data engineers and data quality analysts to build data pipelines from various relational databases to a Graph database such as Neo4j Design ETL processes and prepare technical documentation and/pr PowerPoint slides to share designs with the larger team Identify and leverage ETL tools and services available on Microsoft Azure or AWS Contribute other data activities such as data modeling and data cleaning Interact with the larger team to gather requirements and develop ETL plans and processes Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical relevant technical discipline 5+ years of recent professional experience in data pipeline development and ETL processes 3+ years of programming experience in SQL 2+ years of programming experience in Graph query languages such as Cypher or Gremlin Broad experience in various ETL tools or services on Microsoft Azure or AWS Prior experience working with Oracle DB and SQL Server Prior experience working with at least one Graph database such as Neo4j or CosmosDB Working knowledge of Python programming language Excellent ability to communicate concisely and effectively with other engineers and clients Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance Preferred Skills: Prior experience working with Healthcare data, or in the Healthcare field Working knowledge of Java programming language Communication is the key to success at Amida.
