Reporting to the Chef De Cuisine & Banquet Chef , the essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Assist in the execution of all events and functions. Prepare foods according to menu specifications. Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use. Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all time. Gather food ingredients from the refrigerator or freezer as required. Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use. Study the event menus and prepare ingredients ahead of schedule. Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen.
