We are seeking an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to oversee our team of skilled technicians and ensure the efficient operation of our diesel vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics and a proven track record of leadership in a similar role.Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of diesel mechanics and technicians- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex diesel engine issues- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledgeRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic- Strong leadership and managerial skills- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment- Knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, and hydraulic systems- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, class B license a plusIf you are a skilled diesel mechanic with a passion for leadership and a dedication to excellence, we want to hear from you.
