Directs and coordinates the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received; additionally assists in other miscellaneous duties. Detail oriented, able to work in a fast paced and sometimes demanding environmentPerform daily inventory counts of material needed to maintain the stock for the production of standard bodiesEnter the list of material needed into the system and send corresponding information to management staff for approvalFollows up on material that is pending or not yet ordered; obtains ETA'sPackages stock items to be shipped based on orders received Prepare UPS labels for shipments and keep accurate records of all tracking numbersPrint out UPS daily ship out report and submit to production clerk for processingPrepares pallets for packaging of all truck loadsForward all bill of lading information with quote cost to accounting departmentContact shipping carriers to confirm pick up schedules and time framesUnload and load all material and part arrivals with forklift or manuallyMaintain a clean stockroom and safe work environmentWhat you need to be successful:Education: High School Diploma or GEDPrior Experience: Stock Room Clerk, Shipping & Receiving ClerkComputer Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MAS200Technical Skills: Typing speed of 45 wpm, proficient in MS ExcelIndustry-Specific Knowledge: N/APreferred: Proficient in MAS200 softwareLanguage Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not requiredOther: This job description is intended to provide an overview of the requirements of the position.
