SUMMER POSITION AND LIVE ON-SITE POSITION IN SANGER CA *HOUSING PROVIDED Location : Sanger CA, in the scenic foothills of Sequoia National Park Duration : Summer Contract (May 29 - August 10) Who You Are: You are a high school senior, college student, or young adult who loves outdoor activities and helping young people grow. Full of energy and excitement, and you love making things fun and positive for kids. You work well with others, but you're also good at doing things on your own and coming up with new ideas. You either know or are eager to learn different activities like sports, arts, and outdoor fun. You're someone who takes responsibility seriously and can be a great example and guide for others, making sure everyone feels included, respected, and safe. You're looking forward to learning and growing both for yourself and in your job. What We Offer You: Free place to stay and meals while you work with us. Complete training given, including Lifeguard, CPR/1st Aid (valued at $350). More than 55 hours of training to make you a better leader. Work with an amazing team from all over the world and make friends that last. Real experience working with kids, in sports, and outdoor activities that will look great on your resume and teach you a lot. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with co-counselors and management to ensure camper health and safety. Lead and engage in various camp activities, sharing your skills and learning new ones. Serve as a role model and mentor, contributing to a positive and memorable camp experience. Assist in daily camp operations, ensuring smooth and enjoyable camp sessions. Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older by June 1st A genuine interest in working with children and enthusiasm for outdoor activities. Prior experience in childcare or teaching is a plus, but not a requirement. Special skills in areas like swimming, martial arts, or wakeboarding are welcomed.
