Job ID: 24-01505 Accountant Project Accountant Bethesda, Maryland MUST: Experienced Accountant Project Accountant Must hold a Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience Must have 1 plus year of experience as an Accountant Must have experience preparing financials Must have experience recording journal entries Must have high attention to detail Must work well independently Holding a current CPA is highly preferred Background in commercial real estate accounting is highly preferred DUTIES: Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Update accounts receivable and issue invoices Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings Assist with other accounting projects *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
