Grey Matters Defense Solutions is seeking a talented and dedicated Business Intelligence Developer. About the job: Business Intelligence Developer to support a large scale, long-term project with the US Navy’s Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) in Norfolk, VA Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and maintain , within an Agile environment: B usiness intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense Customer facing data sets using Qlik Catalog ETL jobs using Qlik Replicate/Compose Gather reporting, dashboard, and metric requirements Design and create data visualizations, analytical reports, and dashboards : Integration with an e xisting Navy application Development of new Navy applications Answering ad-hoc data calls Test and validate data in reports developed within the team. Participate in resolving technical issues that arise during development. Communicate and coordinate with members of the development team to work across multiple projects. Assist with documentation for IT technical processes and software user guides Other duties as assigned or required About you: Experience designing and developing business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense, Tableau, or similar required Experience in an Agile development environment utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or comparable tools from other vendors). Preferred Skills: ETL and Data Modeling Oracle or SQL Qlik QDI APIs Working on government funded programs Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Travel : Up to 10% travel to Norfolk, VA will be required. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred .
