Job Description: Position Summary:Incumbent is responsible for the direct supervision of all Nuclear Medicine and PET Personnel in accordance withDepartment/Hospital policies. Assumes responsibility for quality patient care, including timely throughput of patientsand the performance of Nuclear Medicine exams. Functions as performing technologist and serves in advisorycapacity to all staff, physicians and students. Performs the more advanced exams. Performs and ensures propertraining in usage, proper utilization, and minor maintenance of a variety of Nuclear Medicine equipment, imageprocessing and support equipment and the safe handling and documentation of radioactive materials. Creates,updates and maintains Department Policies & Procedures with review/ approval from Division Chief, Radiation Safetyand other governing bodies.Total Compensation Work Package - 63747In addition to the salary range listed below, we offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even morerewarding.
