Does this sound like you?! What you will be doing: Record and reconcile incoming payments received from customers against outstanding invoices. Ensure accurate and timely application of payments to customer accounts in the accounting system. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between payment amounts and invoices to maintain data integrity. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and outstanding balances. Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow projections, and collection activities for management review. Analyze trends and patterns in accounts receivable data to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. Provide insights and recommendations to management on strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations. Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts receivable transactions and documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounts receivable procedures. Perform other duties, as assigned. What you have: Education, Experience, and Licensing: Bachelor's degree or High School diploma and equivalent relevant work experience required. 2+ years' experience in accounts receivable or relevant accounting roles. Hands-on accounting experience within the Property and Casualty Insurance industry preferred. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Working knowledge of GAAP, ledger, account reconciliation, audit/control procedures, cash, A/P, A/R, banking and/or accounting systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact on a professional level. Ability and desire to deliver exceptional customer service. Ability to be adaptable and flexible; adjusting to new requirements or unforeseen issues. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively. Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Desire to live Slide's Core Values.
