Join our team as a Fleet and Safety Associate, where you'll play a pivotal role in executing the maintenance and safety compliance of our fleet and warehouse(s). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient upkeep of our equipment while adhering to Department Heads and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) guidelines. By meticulously monitoring our fleet and warehouse(s), you'll contribute to a safe work environment, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries, and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 7am-4pm Benefits: Healthcare/vision/dental (after 60 days of employment) On-site gym 401K, with a match after 1 year of employment Sick Days Pay Rate: $20-24/ hour depending on experience Fleet and Safety Associate Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate equipment service and maintenance schedules Maintain comprehensive fleet records, including DOT compliance documentation Collaborate with Operations to schedule equipment service and rentals Monitor the utilization of GPS, cameras, and safety equipment to promote safe behaviors Conduct and maintain driver training programs and maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files Assist in driver recruitment efforts Execute OSHA policies and programs across fleet and warehouse operations Manage accident reporting, investigations, and insurance claims (auto, liability and workers comp) Assist in International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) reporting Assist with Key and Equipment management Collaborate with HR and Training departments to maintain safety-focused onboarding process for new employees Prepare and deliver reports on various fleet topics, such as fuel, accidents, and violations Assist with managing OSHA logs by documenting and submitting per incident and annual reports Assist with FMCSA compliance management Assist with minor repairs on vehicles, such as changing batteries and etc Fleet and Safety Associate Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics Strong familiarity with transportation and/or safety protocols OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred, but not required Proficiency in creating and producing detailed reports within tight deadlines Proficiency in MS Office suite Familiarity with safety management information systems Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Effective time management abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to drive 26' box trucks and acquire DOT medical card Ability to assist with equipment relocation or transportation to maintenance facilities Forklift use and safety knowledge preferred Work Location: In person only Job Type: Full-time
