Staffing Specialist - Nursing Scheduler Full Time | Day Shift I Sunday - Thursday I 8am - 4pm Pay rates between $23-25/hour + Shift Differential on Sundays (based on experience) St. Margaret's Center , an affiliate of Center for Disability Services, is a pediatric and young adult 94-bed skilled nursing facility, located in Albany, NY. Founded in 1883, St. Margaret's Center is a skilled nursing facility serving medically fragile infants, children, and young adults on a single dedicated campus. Associate degree preferred. 3 year(s) of related experience in administrative office, customer service setting, or staffing environment Responsibilities for a Staffing Specialist - Nursing Scheduler: Maintain the Master Nursing Schedule, which is used as a template for the daily schedules. Make changes to the Master Nursing Schedule, as changes are needed Complete payroll in the KRONOS Timekeeping System Manage staffing for all holidays. Process the time off requests approved by the supervisors for all St. Margaret's nursing staff and make schedule changes as appropriate. Process the availability for extra hours (pick up) in order to manage the overtime needs. Develop and maintain relationships with relief/per-diem staff for hours pickup, hours availability, and hours requirements. Schedule relief/per-diem for hours based on availability. Maintain an active nursing relief/per-diem pool. Post open shifts via paper and email blasts weekly or as needed. Manage orientation for all new hires in the nursing department. Support training implementation for the nursing department Post staffing numbers per NYS Department of Health regulations on a daily basis. Maintain Master contact list for nursing staff (email and phone) Complete renewals for C.N.A. certifications Provide assistance with staffing agency needs. Complete various projects as needed by St. Margaret's Nursing Management Cover facility reception area in absence of receptionist, as requested.
