Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking a Corporate Controller to add to our team at the headquarters office in the Clear Lake area, near NASA. We are a growing business in the crane rental industry and are looking for strong team players that are self-motivated to succeed! Essential Responsibilities Developing and implementing financial policies Overseeing the accounting staff Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations Leading audit preparation and completion Managing financial reports and documents, such as balance sheets and income statements Handling preparation for tax returns Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits Assisting with corporate financial decisions Supporting integration of business acquisitions Seeking local candidates to the Clear Lake area only. This position works in the office full-time. Minimum Qualifications BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience CPA is required Competence with financial software and technology Understanding of financial and accounting standards and regulations Organizational and time management skills Leadership skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to prioritize duties Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple duties Local, qualified candidates apply online.
