RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage and lead accounting staff * Manage all finance and accounting operations for all divisions * Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements (for senior leadership and parent company) * Monthly financial statement analysis and commentary * Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting * Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances * Acquisition integration * Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls * Participate in strategic initiatives with senior leadership * Additional controller duties as necessaryQUALIFICATIONSQualifications: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance * 5+ years of corporate accounting experience * Insurance industry experiencePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
