The RMM/NOC engineer will be providing support and development of the remote monitoring and management tool and the rest of our MSP solution stack . The engineer will be seeking out opportunities to automate and enhance service delivery of the technical services team as well as streamlining information reporting. We're a relatively flat organization that prioritizes talented engineers who want to take charge. We tell you the problem, provide some constraints or example scenarios, and expect you to work with the Service Delivery and account management team to craft the right solution and maximize the value to the business. This is a HYBRID work environment (3 Days Office/2 Remote) Responsibilities: The Engineer provides back-office support of the technical services team and clients by providing support and development of the remote monitoring and management (RMM) tool and the rest of our MSP stack. The Engineer works closely with the Technical Account Management team and the Service Delivery Manager to develop and maintain the standard operating procedures for the RMM tool including deployment, usage, maintenance, and innovation of support delivery. The Engineer will look for opportunities to automate and enhance the service delivery of the technical services team as well as streamlining information reporting. Daily monitoring of tickets created by the RMM tool in the Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool to better understand and adjust implementation of monitors, scripts, and configuration of RMM tool. Ambitiously seek new ways to automate processes and procedures performed by the technical services team that can be automated via the RMM tool and other tools (i.e. IMMYBOT) such as system patching, software installation, reactionary service delivery, scripting, and reporting This is achieved by finding new and more efficient ways of performing repetitive tasks and/or service delivery automation through RMM tool. Configure and maintain security within the RMM tool for usage by various teams to ensure adequate access and usage but prevent damage or misconfiguration by other members. Monitor RMM server(s) to ensure optimum performance and usability. Continuous enhance personal knowledge of our MSP stack and industry. NOC/RMM Specialist (Managed Service Provider) Required Skills: Mid-Level- Advanced Experience with ConnectWise Automate ( Preferred or similar RMM experience. Mid-Level- Advanced Experience with ConnectWise Manage Mid-Level- Advanced Experience with PowerShell scripting Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 3+ years of experience working for an MSP required.
