Remarkable People, Remarkable Healthcare About the Position The Registered Nurse at Meadville Medical Center will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients using nursing standards and the nursing process. You will participate in patient and family teaching while also working cooperatively with other health care providers. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care Provide leadership by delegating, supervising, and participating in safe nursing care activities provided by ancillary personnel Evaluate effectiveness of patient care and identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients and their families, and community services for patient care outcome and discharge planning Assess and provide appropriate education based on the patient and family needs Participate in unit-based quality improvement and research activities Utilize all available resources to provide quality, cost-effective patient care Identify growth needs and participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations Serve as a role model or preceptor to new graduate nurses and less experienced personnel About Meadville Medical Center Meadville Medical Center is dedicated to serving our community with excellence, dedication, and care.
