We're hiring a reliable and enthusiastic laundry attendant who is comfortable talking with guests and will make them feel at ease. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. Responsibilities: • Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed• Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements• Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods Qualifications: • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification• This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly• Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques• 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills Compensation: 12.00 - 12.50 hourly About Company: At Hilton Garden Inn, our mission statement is simple: “To provide legendary service to our guests by empowering our team to consistently deliver the spirit of hospitality in a safe and fun work environment.”
