We are rapidly growing and looking for an Environmental Field Technician Apprentice I. This is an opportunity to get certified, learn the ropes from a full-time field technician, and work in a fast-paced environment with huge upside financial growth. This job requires the ability to multitask and work as a team player. This job will keep you on your toes with a thriving environmental company. Applicants Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and have excellent communication/people skills. Must have the ability to prioritize and have excellent time management skills. Benefits Include: • Medical• Dental• Vision• Paid Vacation/Sick Time• 401k Responsibilities:• Assist in performing various duties including courier, administrative tasks, errands, field tech support, etc• Learn to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and possess excellent problem-solving skills• Assist Technicians driving to job sites daily and this position requires you to travel for work 100% of the time• Assist in following the full-time field technician's plan of action and schedule• Receive required certifications for a mold and asbestos field technician• Learn how the process on how to collect samples for mold, lead, and asbestos accurately• Carry and use a ladder to get to testing spots• Wear protective gear• Drive the company car safely, and do not speed Qualifications:• Full-time and flexible availability• Must have a good driving record and a current CA Driver's License• 21 years of age or older• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test• A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required, a college degree is preferred• Have the ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers• Must be able to safely lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.• Must maintain a professional appearance at all times• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment• Willingness to obtain CSST/CAC certifications immediately Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 yearly About Company: VERT Environmental @ Fullerton is a full-service environmental testing and consulting company servicing Southern California.
