About the job The YouTube Podcasts team is responsible for a suite of products (e.g. podcast features on the YouTube and YouTube Music apps and publisher-focused products like analytics and business generation).In this role, you will own the entire stack (from indexing to Fan Engagement (FE)), a suite of products that is still nascent with room for plenty of innovation, and the strategy for the consumer side of the business as well as the ecosystem side (i.e., publisher tools, business generation, etc.). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google . Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in engineering. Preferred qualifications: Expertise in the specific field of audio, media, or content. Familiarity with AI technologies (e.g. machine learning and natural language processing) Ability to set and drive overall strategy. Excellent organizational leadership and collaboration skills, with excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities Manage a complex and matrixed team in YouTube and partner across team within Google effectively. Foster a collaborative environment, cultivating a mindset that promotes teamwork and innovation across different YouTube and Google teams. Navigate complexities of a matrixed team structure and collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, Business Operations, and Design team. Utilize business sense and leverage collective knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and share goals. Possess an understanding of engineering infrastructure.
