Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems at American Airlines by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase a better place to live and work; Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development; Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identifies and implements solutions; Utilize object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct, and test reusable objects; Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates; Participate in all phases of the development process from inception through transition; Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance; Utilize the Agile process and perform test-driven development for IT applications; Support the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines; Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.3 years of experience as Developer, Engineer, Consultant, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Full Stack Development; Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, and EJB; Hibernate, Oracle, Object/Relational Mapping, and Query performance tuning; Cloud Foundry, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker Container, Azure DevOps; Tomcat, tcServer, and Websphere; REST/SOAP, JSON, WSDL, and XML; Spring Framework and Spring Boot; Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX; Maven, Gradel, Git, Junit, and Mockito; Selenium, Nexus Repository, SonarQube, Fortify on Demand, Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, and New Relic; Linux and Unix shell Scripting, JavaScript, IBM MQ and Rabbit MQ, SQL Developer, and IDE; Object-oriented design techniques and principles; Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); Agile methodologies and SCRUM; DevOps Toolchain methodologies including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
