Job Description Location: Hartsville, SCWhile reporting to the Associate Director, Engineering the Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for Develop designs, specifications, and cost estimates for various civil / structural projects that are required to meet the manufacturing needs of SONOCOs facilities located throughout US, Canada, and Mexico. Including facility and heavy industrial equipment foundation structural design. Managing project budget, schedule, and performing jobsite inspections to insure compliance with design is achieved. Direct and provide engineering guidance to staff engineers, technicians, and others as required to accomplish the above responsibilities. Education & Experience A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering PE license In-depth working knowledge of heavy industrial facility construction practices. Comprehensive technical understanding of design applications for structural analysis / design in steel, concrete, and wood. Highly skilled competencies in technical written communications, oral presentations, customer interactions, teamwork collaborations, and leadership. Project / Construction Management AutoCAD Must be physically active; work in confined spaces. Must be willing to work in a humid environment (Paper Mill). Must be able to climb ladders and not be afraid of heights. Must-Haves A minimum of 15 years experience Project management experien Industrial structural engineering experience Must Live in Hartsville or relocate to Hartsville Must have design experience Compensation: USD $136,000 - $160,000 Benefits Dental, Medical, Vision, Life, Paid Time Off
