Your primary tasks will include providing specialized guidance and developing new initiatives involving organizational and staff development, employee engagement and retention, succession planning, and more. The ideal candidate will fully understand Latino culture to better understand our staff. They will be highly knowledgeable in all aspects of HR, including employee relations and performance management, compensation, safety, learning and development, policy creation, benefits, and more. They will have a heart for our mission, be supportive of DEIA initiatives, and be an ambassador for the organization's culture and values. Does this sound like you? A starting salary of $86,000 - $116,000 per year (depending on experience) and a generous benefits package. This position's primary responsibilities include: Developing HR department goals, objectives, programs, and systems in conjunction with the strategic plan and in collaboration with senior leadership. Gaining organizational insight to better inform coaching on talent acquisition, organizational structure, employee engagement, and more. Developing and implementing leadership and staff development programs. Taking the initiative to implement culturally driven HR programs, processes, and policies to optimize the employee experience. Leading and developing a tailored employee recognition program that aligns with the organization's values, priorities, and business needs. Advising senior leaders and managers on employee relations issues, such as job performance, disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and more. Leading a comprehensive, equitable, and market-driven compensation program consistent with organizational goals. Hiring and overseeing vendor contracts, such as PEO, HRIS, staffing firms, and more. Overseeing the duties of the HR Generalist, including recruiting, onboarding, and benefits and leave administration. Our ideal candidate must have: A minimum of seven years’ experience in Human Resources. A minimum of three years' experience leading the Human Resources function in an organization of similar or larger size/type. Experience with full supervisory responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence and comfort with public speaking. The ability to collaborate effectively, work strategically, and exercise outstanding judgment and critical thinking skills. The ability to build and foster credibility and influence with senior leadership and staff. The ability to handle and resolve complex issues using analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven and effective project management and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices, including the ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Strong systems abilities, including HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HR metric dashboards. It would be great if you also have: A bachelor’s degree in human resources business management, Organizational Development, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. SHRM-SCP Certification Background in not-for-profit organizations. The ability to speak, read, and write Spanish. A full understanding of the Latino culture and how it impacts and drives decisions and performance at all levels. Administrative experience working with Paylocity or JazzHR. PAY: The salary and wage range Hacienda advertises for the position means that the starting pay offered to the candidate will fall within the range posted. We recognize that each candidate brings with them a unique combination of experiences, education, skills, and abilities; therefore, the offer will be tailored to the individual. A bilingual Spanish premium of up to 3% is available after 90 days upon successful completion of a language assessment.
