Job Overview:The Wage and Hour Class Action Associate Attorney will play a significant role in litigating their own docket of cases while receiving mentorship from award-winning attorneys. They will draft pleadings, develop litigation strategies, and represent clients in various legal proceedings, honing their skills in research, writing, and oral advocacy. Duties:Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Develop strategies to litigate wage and hour matters in state and federal courts.Participate in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations as part of a litigation team.Develop persuasive research, writing, and oral advocacy skills under mentorship.Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate for their rights. Requirements:Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.Superior analytical and legal research skills. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar. Skills:Litigation strategy development.Legal research and analysis.Document drafting and review.Courtroom advocacy.Teamwork and collaboration.Oral and written communication.
