UPC is looking for a unique and talented individual who has a combination of woodworking, plastic fabricating or metal working experience. The position works directly with our Design team on prototypes and helps to execute projects for production. Take the next step in your career with Universal Presentation Concepts as a Prototyper. Skilled craftsmen who have a proven track record of self-management, attention to detail and accuracy will enjoy the independent working environment and our "Made in America" brand. Building jigs and tooling for the production floor are just some of the unique opportunities this position offers. UPC is a custom job shop which uses various plastic, wood, metal and other materials in its products. Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in furniture and/or cabinet making and wood working 2-4 years experience with all shop tools Must be able to read and understand blueprints Experience using measuring devices, hand tools, power tools and saws on a daily basis. Able to lift 50 to 70lbs frequently; walk and stand for long periods of time Broad knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes Proven communication skills, both written and verbal The individual we seek is energetic and has a positive attitude.
