Practice Area: Insurance Defense - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Meridian, ID, is seeking an Attorney with experience in all phases of litigation, particularly in insurance defense. The Attorney will be responsible for creating defense strategies, client communication, conducting investigations, and managing all aspects of litigation. They should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to docket management. Duties:Develop defense strategies and communicate with clients.Draft various reports, including initial, interim, and pre-trial reports.Handle trials, appellate activity, and mediation/arbitration proceedings.Draft discovery requests and responses, as well as related motions.Attend court appearances regularly.Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.Draft motions for summary judgment.Proactively manage the docket to ensure timely progress.Provide excellent customer service to clients. Requirements:2+ years of insurance defense experience.Admitted to practice in the State of Idaho.Mediation, arbitration, and trial experience, preferably as first or second chair. Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent research abilities.Written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Customer service-oriented mindset. Education Certifications:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in the State of Idaho.
