Are you ready to take your mechanical engineering skills to the next level? We're looking for an inspired Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing, prototyping, and analyzing cutting-edge medical devices and equipment. You'll have the opportunity to oversee every aspect of the process, from conception to production, including conducting feasibility studies, testing new designs, and directing support personnel in detailed design and prototype fabrication. The ideal candidate has critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a desire to contribute real-world solutions, in a fast-paced start-up environment working with cross-functional teams. What you will be doing: Design and prototype innovative medical devices and equipment. Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Direct support staff in detailed design, testing, and prototype fabrication. Document design and process information in quality system records. What we are looking for: 3+ years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a scientific/engineering discipline. Proven experience in designing and prototyping mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position located in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location, additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
