Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Mobility Assistance: Provide support with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or vice versa, walking, and exercising. Medication Management: Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions. Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up living spaces. Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, accompany on outings, and participate in recreational activities. Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed. Monitoring Health: Keep track of any changes in health conditions and report concerns to appropriate medical professionals or family members. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication administration, vital signs, and daily activities. Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, including administering first aid and contacting emergency services if necessary. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a similar live-in role, is often required. Certification: Certification in CPR and first aid is typically preferred. Physical Stamina: Ability to assist with lifting, bending, and other physical tasks associated with caregiving. Compassion: Empathy and patience in providing care and support to individuals with varying needs.
