Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering has an immediate opening for an on-site Controller in Rochester Hills, MI. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for all financial aspects of the accounting system Responsible for financial transactions of all supporting subsystems to the general ledger Oversees the quality system and the workflow process from a financial and accounting standpoint Reviews and implements practical control procedures overall balance sheet items Determines proper application of generally accepted accounting principles Internal reporting as required by management Interfaces with external sources regarding accounting issues Prepares schedules to support review by CPA firm Keeps CPA firm and the CFO informed with tax compliance issues Keeps CPA firm informed with appropriate financial data required to issue reviewed financial statements Reconciles general account balance statements Responsible for the general ledger account analysis as directed by the CFO Performs monthly tooling and mass production manufacturing financial reports Reviews tax filings Establishes burden rates for various departments or processes Reviews all accounts receivable, payable and payroll accounts Captures and tracks delinquent purchase orders Reviews aging accounts and works toward balance reduction Any additional duties as assigned by supervision Qualified applicants must have a 4-year Accounting degree and a minimum of five years Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.Hi-Tech is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will make all employment-related decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, familial status, status with regard to public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
