The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and client service skills, along with experience in various corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital financing, and capital markets. The Corporate Associate Attorney (Private Equity and Finance) will be responsible for handling a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, private placements, venture capital financing, and strategic joint ventures. This role requires excellent technical skills, client service abilities, and a team-oriented approach to collaboration. Duties:Handle various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, private placements, venture capital financing, and strategic joint venturesProvide legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate governance mattersDraft and review transactional documents, including agreements, contracts, and disclosuresConduct due diligence and risk assessment for corporate transactionsCollaborate with partners, clients, and other stakeholders to develop transaction strategiesResearch and analyze legal issues related to corporate law and financeMaintain strong client relationships and provide responsive client service Requirements:4-6 years of demonstrated corporate transactional experienceExperience in private equity and finance is preferredMember of the New Jersey Bar in good standing Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Skills:Strong technical expertise in corporate law and financeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsClient service-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectivelyEffective problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independentlyExperience with automotive dealership and franchise law is a plus This law firm has offices in Boston, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Washington, DC.
